The Ojai Basin Groundwater Management Agency (OBGMA) exists to preserve the quantity and quality of groundwater in the Ojai Basin in order to protect and maintain the long-term water supply for the common benefit of the water users in the basin. OBGMA collects groundwater extraction data on a quarterly basis from individual wells within the basin.

OBGMA also collects continuous groundwater level and temperature data via data loggers in five production wells and the San Antonio Creek Spreading Grounds depth discrete monitoring well. These data are used to better understand and manage the basin, such as through the development and calibration of groundwater hydrology models.
